In 2022 Bassett Nut Company was acquired by Rachel Michael's Gourmet Popcorn. Rachel Michael's Gourmet Popcorn was started when Rachel's family, who grew up snacking on Caramel Corn, could never agree on the flavor. “Each of us had our own style and we always felt that the taste left something to be desired”. As the family grew, they quickly realized the only way to make everyone happy was to make it themselves! It was then that Rachel Michael's Gourmet Popcorn, a Toledo area favorite featuring delicious and unique flavored popcorn was born. Today we are excited to bring you the best of both snacking worlds, nuts, and popcorn! Our plan is to continue with the timeless Bassett Nut traditions while adding a new flair with our delicious gourmet popcorn.
